Includes Instructions.
Object of the game: Two players facing each other with the Mancala Board between them. The board is set up with a row of six cups (called house) for each player and a larger cup to his left (called Mancala). Each player places 4 stones in each 6 cups (houses). Decide which player will move first by flipping a coin.
Play: The first player picks up all the stones in any of his six cups. The he starts to show them by placing one stone in each cup to the right (clockwise) around the board including his own Mancala but not his opponents. Should the player place his last stone in his Mancala he gets another turn. If the player places the last stone on his opponents empty cup, then it will be the opponents turn to play. If he places the last stone on his empty cup he gets all the stones on the opponents cup directly in front of that cup.
All captured stones get placed in his Mancala. It is then the opponents turn to play whenever the last stone is placed on an empty cup thus may continue until one side of six cups (houses) is emptied. Game is over. The player with the most stones in his Mancala pot is the winner.
Note: There are many variations of Mancala. Most Libraries may have more information
